2 Pack Silicone Razor Travel Case, Blue Black, Compatible with Gillette, Parker, Merkur Razor

Prior to this product, I used a product that placed a spring load “cap” on my razor blade. There was no ventilation so blades never dried well. Yucky… always smelled because the blades with lubricant never completely dried.So I looked for a product that was well ventilated but was minimalistic because I didn’t want it to take up much room in my toiletry bag. Found this product and it works well.PROS1) Well ventilated- The bottom back portion of the case has 3 slits to allow for drainage and ventilation of the handle. The top part of the case covers the blades for safety but there is plenty of open space for ventilation (see enclosed picture) of the blades.2) Will fit your Gillette Razor? – lets face it, all the Gillette razor heads (blades) are pretty much the same size, so for the blade, if it fits my blade with plenty of room, it will fit yours. The question is, if you use a the bulker, bigger Power Handle, will it also fit? See my picture with the Power handle. Fits perfectly. Therefore if it fits with my bigger Power handle and you happen to use the slimmer non- power handle, it will fit for you as well.3) Minimalistic- The case is no bigger than the biggest Gillette razor (see enclosed picture) so it is relatively minimalistic in the sense it covers the entire Razor, but no more. Also see enclosed picture to get a sense of how much room this product takes up in the average toiletry bag. Not that much.CONS1) There is almost always at least one “con”… and this one is that the nature of the silicon case makes this a dust magnet. If this bothers you then don’t get the black color ( but this only means you don’t see the dust as well- but the dust is still there). Easy to clean dust off with soap and water; it’s silicon.SUMMARY: This a reasonably priced product that, despite being a “dust magnet”, will keep your razors well ventilated and you safe from cuts in a relatively minimalistic package. In my opinion the “con” is minor, thus this is still a 5 star product!
