Fire Ant Tetra 2.5-3cm Hyphessobrycon myrmex, often referred to as the Fire Ant Tetra, is a unique species of tetra found in the Rio Orinoco basin, which spans parts of Venezuela and Colombia. This vibrant orange fish typically grows to around 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) when kept in aquariums. As schooling fish, tetras thrive in groups, so it’s recommended to keep them in numbers of at least six to promote their natural behaviors.
