RAINBOW SHINER Rainbow Shiners thrive in various temperate fast-flowing habitats such as small rivers, springs, clear streams, creeks, and riffles. It is recommended to keep them in groups of 6 or more in a spacious, mature, and well-filtered aquarium. Ensure there are plenty of hiding spots and a decent current from powerheads. Maintaining a higher water temperature will increase the oxygenation level needed. These peaceful shoaling fish are best suited for mid to top dwelling areas and can coexist with other fish of similar size and temperament that prefer fast-flowing conditions.
