I purchased two of the AquaClear 20 powerheads on March 20th, 2021. It is now Oct. 27th, 2023, and both powerheads have been in use for over 2.5 years without issue. I run both powerheads attached to a single under gravel filter in a 25-Gal. tall tank. The powerheads run 24/7 since they were first installed and are quiet and still moving water as they did on day one. This along with my canister filter keep my tank crystal clear. I run a freshwater tank with 3 goldfish two are over 4 inches and one black bubble eye goldfish about 3 inches along with two Hillstream Loaches about 1.5 inches each and a Longfin Bristlenose Pleco about 5.5 inches. Overall, I am very happy with the service and quality of the AquaClear 20 powerheads, and I have only removed and cleaned them once in 2.5 years of use. Even then when I did the cleaning, they were almost spotless, but I just rinsed and flushed out and they were back in use within 15 minutes.I hope that I did not jinx myself, but the Aquaclear 20 powerheads have so far done an outstanding AAAAA job for my tank setup!
