The “Neoprene Flex – 2 ply WS” is flexible ductwork with protective yellow wear strip is best suited for heavy dust control and light bulk material handling. Each material transfer duct is constructed using a double-ply neoprene coated polyester fabric with a spring steel wire helix. The sturdy hose material is made to withstand abrasive conditions. The exterior yellow wear-strip protects the hose from exterior wear and tear from prolonged use. The material transfer duct has excellent crush resistance and tensile strength because of its spiral helix skeleton. The neoprene coating offers excellent abrasion and chemical resistance. Additional coatings are available if better abrasion and/or chemical resistance is called for in your application. This material transfer duct can handle both positive and negative pressures making it ideal for wide variety of use. This hose is also listed as an UL 94 V-0 flame retardant product. For the hose material to be considered UL 94 V-0, the material must be exposed to a vertical flame for 10 seconds and should stop burning within 10 seconds and do so without flaming drips or droplets. “Neoprene Flex – 2 ply WS” flexible ductwork comes in a wide range of internal diameters from 3 to 24 inches. Larger custom sizes are available if a dust handling hose is required with a large inside diameter. Available custom sizes include, sizes 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, and 48 inch. Each hose has a working temperature range from -40 F to 250 Fahrenheit. The black material transfer duct comes with standard plain cut ends. Specialty, enlarged and reduced cuffed hose ends are available upon request.
