Cavity wax 1 litre and applicator gun

Description This set is one litre of FERTAN Cavity Protection Wax and an applicator gun.   FERTAN Cavity Protection Wax has been developed to protect and preserve vehicle cavities. After application the product forms a transparent only apparently dry layer, which ensures an excellent and long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion.  Apparently dry because within itself it remains flexible. The homogeneous protective layer of the wax stays elastic for years, small cracks eg due to body twisting, close automatically and the optimum protection is permanently maintained.   Solvents and cleaners won’t damage the protective layer.  In maintenance and repair situations it would be normal to wash through cavities and treat any corrosion with Fertan Rust Converter prior to spraying with FERTAN Cavity Protection Wax. Cavity protection standard can processing: Shake well before use. FERTAN Cavity Protection Introduce wax into the cavities using a cavity gun with a 360 ° nozzle. Use the holes provided by the vehicle manufacturer, or install new holes if necessary. Apply wax to the hole margins as well. FERTAN Cavity Protection Wax does not drip. Remove any splashes with white spirit. The optimal processing temperature and the temperature of the body should be min. 20 ° C. For restorations and after-treatments, apply wax only 24 hours after rust removal by FERTAN Rust Converter. Please observe the processing instructions for the rust converter. Processing pressure: Cavity suction cup gun with 360 ° nozzle approx. 6 – 9 bar Cavity pressure cup gun with 360 ° nozzle approx. 3 – 4.5 bar Please note: After de-rusting and before applying cavity protective wax, pretreat the welds and sheet overlaps with a layer of  PREWAX pretreatment wax , a near-penetrating protective wax with extreme creep capability. Then add cavity protection wax in several thin layers, staggered by 12-48 hours, to compensate for shrinkage cracks.
