I have Morton’s toe (second toe longer than “big” toe) as well as the neuroma that often goes with it. These hammer toe correctors are GREAT! They come with two pair each of Small, Medium, and Large, each pair in its own little ziplock baggie, all in a little snap-shut box, which, as others have noted, will be challenging if not impossible to fit all six pair, in their individual bags, back into this plastic case. But, hey, just keep these in their bags (more on that below), and use the little box for storing small items for traveling! These toe separators/lifters can be used two ways — to separate (flat surface facing sideways, i.e. to separate the big toe from the second) thereby alleviating bunions, or to lift the toe (flat surface facing down) in the case of hammertoe or “claw toe” (overly curved). I’ve used silicone toe separators/lifters before, and for me, the most important things to remember are: ⭐1) If it feels too tight in the first few moments, go up to a larger size! Silicone has very little “stretch memory”, and so wearing a too-small silicone appliance in hopes that it’ll loosen up is NOT a good idea. It’ll just hurt, and you don’t want to cut off your circulation! ⭐2) Be patient about getting used to them. Don’t try to wear them a whole day your first time. Work up gradually, start with a half-hour or so, if that goes well, next time try for an hour…and so on. Listen to what your toes are telling you! ⭐3) To avoid the dreaded “purple toe”: Even thought I have skinny toes, I wear the separator on the second toe, with the flat side toward my big toe. This works great for me, and doesn’t cut off the circulation on my big toe. ⭐4) And possibly most useful tip — I took these out of their little baggies, and used a permanent marker to label the size on each baggie. SO much easier to find the one(s) you want to use! These PGRODE silicone correctors are of good quality, washable, and at $9.99 for the 12 pieces (6 pair), a good price — especially if you are able to use all three sizes on various toes as needed! ? Happy feet, happy life! (I know, I changed it up a little bit, but it’s true, isn’t it?) ?
