Abufene is a drug used in gynecology, indicated for the treatment of hot flashes associated with menopause.It has a direct effect exclusively on cutaneous peripheral vasodilation, which causes vegetative flushes, feelings of warmth, fever, and headache.Compositionactive ingredient: 1 tablet contains beta-alanine 400 mg;excipients: magnesium stearate, glycerol palmitostearate, colloidal silicon dioxide, wheat starch.ContraindicationIncreased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug. Increased sensitivity or intolerance to gluten, as the drug contains wheat starch.Method of applicationAbufene is to be used internally. Take 1 to 2 tablets per day (before the main meal). This dose can be increased to 3 tablets per day.The minimum course of treatment is from 5 to 10 days (until the hot flashes stop).If hot flashes resume, treatment can be continued throughout the entire period of clinical vasomotor disorders, without any time limit.Application featuresThe drug is recommended for use in premenopause, menopause of various etiologies and postmenopausal period, before hormone replacement therapy and in combination with hormone replacement therapy.
